With Reports on the Congrify platform, you can create and view your payments reports which summarize all your critical transaction and payment performance data. It is designed for operational visibility, allowing you to instantly create, view, search, and download pre-generated reports. The dashboard offers at-a-glance access to historical data for essential business metrics, including:

- **Custom and Pre-Built Reporting:** Easily generate specific reports summarizing the weekly, monthly overview of your  Authorization Rate, Sales Volume, Fees, and other KPIs to track business performance.

- **Ready-to-View Status:** Clearly see the status of each report, ensuring you always know when data is updated, matched to the ingestion pipelines and available for analysis.

- **Detailed Parameters:** Each report is categorized by reporting period (e.g., Mar 2026) and a precise creation timestamp, ensuring data integrity and clarity.

- **One-Click PDF Download:** Export any finalized report as a PDF for easy sharing, archiving, and offline review.

## 1. Managing Report Automation

Navigate to the 'Report Definitions' tab to manage your scheduled business reports through a master list.

- Active/Inactive Toggles: Use the orange toggles next to any report to enable or disable its automated execution. This allows you to pause reports during seasonal shifts without deleting the underlying configuration.

- Quick Actions: Each report entry features a set of icons to View Report definition, Edit the Report Definitions, or Delete the definition entirely.

##2. Viewing Report Definitions

Before a report runs, you can verify its logic by clicking the Details icon (document symbol). A side panel will appear displaying:

- Core Metadata: Title, description, and the creator Username.

- Execution Logic: The scheduled frequency, preferred currency, and specific timezone.

- Data Scope: The KPI being monitored and the dimensions (e.g., Gateway, MID, Card Type) included in the output.

- Next Execution: The date of the next planned report generation.

## 3. Editing Existing Reports

To adjust an active report, click the Pencil icon. The editing interface allows you to:

- Refine the Title and Description for better team clarity.

- Update the Frequency (switching between Weekly or Monthly delivery).

- Modify the Data Attributes if your reporting requirements have expanded.

- The system also tracks the "Last Update" timestamp to maintain an audit trail of changes.

## 4. Creating a New Report Definition

To build a report from scratch, click the '+ Add new report' button and follow the three-step configuration of the Report definition:

**Step 1: Define your report**

- Enter a descriptive Title and a short summary.

- Select your Frequency: Choose Every week for high-touch monitoring or Every month for executive summaries.

**Step 2: Choose the report focus**

- Select a Metric: Choose the primary KPI you want to monitor (e.g., Fees Rate as in the example, Sales Volume, or Authorization Rate).

- Select Dimensions: Use the multi-select dropdown to choose which multiple dimension to include. You can choose from a wide array of attributes/ dimensions such as BIN, Merchant Account, Gateway, Card Product, Scheme, Country, etc.

**Step 3: Define report settings**

- Currency: Set the financial output to your preferred denomination (e.g., EUR, USD).

- Timezone: Select the regional timezone (e.g., Europe/Berlin) to ensure data alignment with your local business day.

Click Save to add the report to your active queue. The system will now automatically generate these insights and populate them in your Report Results tab according to your defined schedule.
